They used the stars and planets for prediction until Naustradamus summarised it all in a book and all the futures could be read in his book then they realised predictions were futile, actions were better. Had they looked better they would have seen that the Big Bang back ground radiations were not noise but the book they had always looked for.
This saved them from the doom mist other alien civilisation faced when they made this discovery
